Glorious Glossary of Tech Terms

Since you made it to Tech you probably have many questions: "What will my classes be like?" "How do I keep my GPA up?" "Are my parents really over 1000 miles away?" "What is the answer to Life the Universe and Everything?" and "Huh?" Well this page can't help you with the first four but it can help with "Huh?" There are many things about Tech that are confusing but the greatest obstacle to freshman has to be the language. Tech students don't speak English. We speak an intricate amalgam of terms accrued over the years to produce a pseudo-language designed to make ourselves seem intelligent.
